Diane Parente, PharmD, BCIDP, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Karius since March 2024. Previously, Diane has held various academic positions including Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Rhode Island - College of Pharmacy and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinical Educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Additionally, Diane has contributed to Bryant University PA Program and Johnson & Wales University as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to these roles, Diane was the Director of PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship at Brown University Health. Diane's earlier experiences include a Post-Doctoral Infectious Disease Pharmacy Fellowship at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at UF Health Jacksonville. Diane completed a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Rhode Island from 2007 to 2012.
