Mark Lieberwitz

Mark Lieberwitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark is currently the Co-Founder & CPO of KarmaCheck since August 2019. In this role, they lead a tech-first, AI-driven approach to provide fast employment background checks with a focus on user experience, reliability, and compliance.

Prior to this, Mark worked as a Sr. Product Manager at Resilience from February 2019 to March 2020. Here, they bridged the gap between cybersecurity and insurance, closing deals with multiple name-brand insurance brokers/carriers and leading the largest SaaS roll out in the company's history.

From March 2015 to February 2019, Mark was a Sr. Product Manager, Mobile at Meltwater, a Public Relations and Marketing SaaS company. Mark grew the mobile department significantly, launching two successful mobile products and utilizing ML to enhance search and analysis capabilities.

Before that, Mark held positions at Charles Schwab as a Product Manager - Paperless, Integral Talent Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Product Manager handling product strategy and development, and if(we) as a Sr. Product Manager focusing on platform design and mobile app development.

Mark's earlier experiences include roles at SendMe, Inc., Ballerhouse, Inc., Affiliate Marketer, and Hearst, where they gained expertise in product management, online sales/marketing, and inside sales management.

Mark Lieberwitz completed their education from 2003 to 2007. Mark first attended Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management and Strategy. During the same period, they also attended Tulane University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music. In November 2011, Mark obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
