Simon Hallam

Simon Hallam is a highly accomplished inventor and engineering leader with extensive experience across multiple industries, including robotics, virtual reality, and software development. Currently serving as the Head of Robotics and Applied Research at Karman+ since June 2023, Simon also founded Hallam Inventions in November 2018, where innovative processes and technologies are developed. Previously, Simon held key positions including Director of Software Engineering and Robotics at Hadrian and Head of Mechatronics at Oculus VR, where a multidisciplinary team was built to advance virtual reality technology. An inventor at heart, Simon has created significant products such as the Zen Table and BuildBot, along with a successful Kickstarter campaign.
