Michael Downes

Michael Downes is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in asset management and investment banking. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management at Karney Properties Co. since 2019, Michael previously held the position of Managing Director at Arc Capital Partners LLC, focusing on the acquisition and repositioning of urban properties targeting Millennial growth, and at Watt Investment Partners. Michael also gained valuable experience as Director of Asset Management at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors, in addition to roles at United Systems Integrators Corporation and Deutsche Bank Securities. Michael's early career included work as an Environmental Specialist at Environmental Partners and teaching with Teach for America. Michael holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Accounting from Boston College.
