Sofia Pedersen is the VP of Scientific Affairs at Karo Pharma. Sofia has over two decades of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

Sofia started their career as a regulatory affairs specialist at a small pharmaceutical company. Sofia quickly rose through the ranks and became the head of scientific affairs at Trimb Healthcare. In this role, they managed a team of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, product development, and medical affairs professionals. Sofia was also responsible for compliance control, tech transfers, and product launches.

In their most recent role as Director of Regulatory and Quality Affairs, Sofia was responsible for the Trimb portfolio of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, and foods. Sofia managed a team of RAQA professionals and oversaw all regulatory and quality management activities.

Sofia has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and is an expert in compliance with regulations and standards. Sofia is a strong leader with a proven track record of success in managing teams and projects. Sofia Pedersen studied pharmacy at the University of Gothenburg, and they hold a MSc in Pharmacy from the same institution.
