Gil Karsten

Gil Karsten is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance and business leadership. Currently a member of YPO since 2023, Gil has been a partner and director of private equity at Pátria Investimentos since 2008. Since 2014, Gil has held the position of chairman of the board at Karsten S.A., where prior roles included contributions in marketing between 2004 and 2007. Earlier experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 1996 to 2003 focused on mergers and acquisitions. Educational qualifications include an SEP from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2024, an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2005-2007), and a degree in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas (1992-1995).
