Nathan Burrows has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nathan is the founder and President of Kaseware, a SaaS company that focuses on investigations software. In this role, they have led the development and implementation of innovative software solutions across various industries. Nathan oversees all aspects of the business, including operations, product development, security, compliance, and quality assurance. Nathan has also worked as a Supervisory Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 2003 to 2015. During their time at the FBI, they investigated criminal and national security computer intrusions, coordinated with law enforcement agencies, and led the design and development of the FBI's case management system. Prior to that, Nathan worked as a Systems Administrator at Lexmark, where they managed server infrastructure, implemented backup and disaster recovery procedures, and performed regular system maintenance tasks.
Nathan Burrows obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) from the State of Colorado in October 2015, a Certified Forensic Analyst certification from GIAC in September 2007, a Security Essentials certification from GIAC in August 2006, and a Certified Incident Handler certification from GIAC in July 2006.
