Uriah Berry has a diverse work experience in the field of security and technology. Uriah started their career at Time Warner Cable as a Network Technician, providing tier II network support for the campus network at UNC Charlotte. Uriah then joined the National Security Agency as a Computer Analyst, where they worked for six years. After that, Uriah joined Dimension Data as a Security Operations Manager and Lead Technical Engineer, managing a team delivering managed services to global organizations. Uriah also served as a Security Consulting Engineer, dedicated to large managed security service accounts. In this role, they focused on improving client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for additional service offerings, and reducing cybersecurity risks. Uriah's latest position is as a Security Consulting Engineer at Katalyst, where they are currently employed.
Uriah Berry's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Uriah completed their undergraduate studies in 2004. Following that, Uriah continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology, which they finished in 2006. Alongside their academic pursuits, Uriah has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they obtained three certifications from the CNSS • National Security Systems, namely CNSS 4011 (Information Systems Security), CNSS 4013 (System Administrators), and CNSS 4014 (Information Systems Security Officers). Subsequently, Uriah obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification in July 2011, the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification in June 2012, and the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Security (CCIE-S) certification in October 2012. Uriah'smost recent certifications include the Cisco Certified DevNet Associate certification from Cisco, which they obtained in June 2020, and the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional certification from Fortinet, obtained in October 2020.
