Katamate is reimagining how modern spaces experience breaks, energy, and connection.

Inspired by the social ritual of South American yerba mate, Katamate explores a more meaningful and sustainable approach to beverage culture, one that supports focus, community, and better everyday moments in cafés, campuses, workplaces, and shared environments.

We believe that the best breaks do more than offer caffeine.
They create:

- energy with intention
- connection through ritual
- sustainable habits that fit modern life

Katamate combines:

- a modern beverage ritual inspired by traditional mate
- an optimized approach to consistency, flavour, and convenience
- eco-conscious serving options, including reusable or compostable formats
- a proprietary-designed compostable straw concept
- a vision for innovative service solutions that make mate easier to offer in high-traffic spaces

Our mission is to help shape the future of better breaks: breaks that are energizing, social, and aligned with the values of the next generation.

We’re especially interested in connecting with:

* workplace wellness and culture leaders
* universities and student-focused spaces
* cafés and coffee shops
* hospitality and foodservice collaborators
* sustainability and innovation partners

Katamate isn’t just a beverage. It’s a better break.
