Devjit Basu has over 17 years of work experience in product and user experience roles. In 2020, they began working at Katapult as the VP, Head of Product. Devjit'srole involves creating innovative solutions to increase financial access for those who have been left out of traditional credit and financing options. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at MoneyLion as the Director of Product, managing lending products and focusing on user acquisition, product strategy, operations, and design. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Bottomline Technologies and Andera, Inc. as the Director of Product Management and User Experience, transforming the product from one that was 'rough around the edges' to one with a best-in-class user experience. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at BlackRock as the Vice President of User Experience. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at BNY Mellon as the Assistant Vice President of User Experience. From 2003 to 2008, they worked at Overskies as the Director of Interactive Media, managing the complete project lifecycle of all interactive projects.

Devjit Basu earned their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Parsons School of Design - The New School in the field of Design Technology and their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from CEPT University in the field of Architecture.
