Katara Studios is a Doha-based full-service independent studio specializing in the financing, development and production of high-quality film, Television and Music content.

Katara Studiosʼ mandate is to be the leading proponent of the growing Qatari film space, both in the Middle East and worldwide. The company is seeking  and developing projects that will attract an international audience while providing elements of, and a glimpse into, Arabic and Qatari culture.

Katara Studios is also a FULL-SERVICE production service company, including post- production. The Katara Studios brick-and mortar facilities is primarily a multi-studio music recording, mixing and mastering facility, as well as a full Dolby Atmos, 5.1, post-production facility, providing full picture and sound offline and online services for external clients and internally-generated Film and TV content.

They also provide full sound design, editing, and mastering services for film and TV content, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities like Dolby Atmos and 5.1 post-production suites to deliver immersive audio experiences.

The Film Production team at Katara Studios is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of film projects, from initial concept and financing through to development, production, and post-production. This team ensures that each project aligns with the studio's mission to spotlight and share Arabic and Qatari culture with an international audience. They coordinate creative processes, manage budgets, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders to bring high-quality film and television content to life.

Film Production

The Post Production Team at Katara Studios is responsible for refining and finalizing all film, television, and music content produced by the studio. Key tasks include color grading, sound mixing, mastering, editing, and ensuring the highest quality through meticulous quality control processes. The team collaborates to enhance the visual and auditory experience, delivering polished, professional-grade content that aligns with both international standards and the studio’s dedication to showcasing Arabic and Qatari culture.
