Located in the heart of Durham a few blocks from historical Black Wall Street and philosophically rooted in educational justice, Kate's Korner Learning Center is mission-driven to build access to equitable learning experiences, powered by the strength of community and our belief in each child's innate potential and excellence.

Our classrooms are built on the Soil B4 Seed model — a research-backed approach that centers educator well-being as the foundation for exceptional child care. We believe children learn best when they are guided by teachers who feel respected, supported, and empowered.

Here, educators are paid well, supported through wellness programs, and trusted as leaders in shaping classroom culture and learning experiences. Our environments are culturally affirming, nurturing, and designed to help every child feel seen, valued, and safe.
