Simon Nixon

Simon Nixon is an independent commentator, consultant, and speaker with a focus on European political economy and geoeconomics. They previously served as the chief European commentator at The Wall Street Journal and the chief leader writer at The Times. Currently, Nixon is a columnist for both Kathimerini and Euractiv, as well as the publisher of the Wealth of Nations newsletter. They are also engaged as a project consultant at Horatius Advisory and hold the position of governor at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. Nixon studied History at Trinity College Cambridge, where they earned a 1st Class Honours degree.
