Ian Spillane is an Engineering Director for C4I and Networks at KATIM in Abu Dhabi. Since graduating from The University of Manchester in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Ian has worked on diverse military and commercial programs across air, land, and sea systems. They have held various senior leadership roles, notably as Engineering Director at Rockwell Collins UK Ltd and Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin UK Ampthill, focusing on complex Command & Control solutions. Ian has also contributed to NATO committees, serving as Chairman of a study on Threat Evaluation Weapon Assignment interoperability, and was recognized as a Lockheed Martin Fellow in December 2019 for their technical leadership.
