Mika Rintala

Mika Rintala is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software-defined radio and product management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at KATIM since July 2025, Rintala previously held the position of Product Manager at Saab from February 2022 to July 2025. Significant roles at Nokia included Radio SoC Product Manager, Product Architect, and R&D Tribe Leader between April 2018 and February 2022. Rintala also has experience as Modem Program Manager at Renesas Mobile Corporation from November 2010 to November 2013, and held various managerial positions at Nokia from September 2006 to November 2010. Rintala's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electronics from the University of Oulu, obtained in May 1990.
