Mikko Kivelä

Mikko Kivelä is a seasoned professional in software quality assurance with extensive experience in the cybersecurity and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager QA at KATIM since April 2020, Mikko oversees product software quality and establishes company-wide QA processes. Prior to this role, Mikko was a Senior QA Lead at Q-Factory Oy, leading product QA teams, and held various positions at Qvantel, including Project Test Manager, where responsibilities included customer delivery test management for large-scale projects. Additional experience includes roles at Microsoft as a Product SW QA Lead, managing testing for successful Lumia products, and a long tenure at Nokia R&D, where Mikko progressed from Software Test Engineer to Project Manager in Software Testing. Mikko holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
