Pete Polyakov

Pete Polyakov has a varied and extensive work experience. Pete started their career in 1999 as Creative Director at Bavaria City Racing, and then Co-Founder and Art Director at DreamVision. In 2005, they joined The Walt Disney Company as a Marketing employee. In 2006, they took on the role of VFX Artist and Supervisor at Warner Bros. Studios, and then in 2008 they took on the same role at Double Negative. In 2010, they became Creative Director at ROSSKINO, and then in 2013 they were Producer and Marketing Director at PewdiePie. In 2017, they became Creative Director and Co-Founder at Misty Islands, and in 2020 they became Creative Director at Katmai.

Pete Polyakov attained a Bachelor's (specialist) degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 1997 and 2002. Pete then obtained a Master of Architecture in Architectural Design from Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy) (MARCHI) between 2004 and 2006. Following this, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Directing and Theatrical Production from VGIK Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography between 2006 and 2008. Lastly, they completed a Master of Philosophy - MPhil from Yale University between 2010 and 2012.
