Mike Devries

Mike DeVries is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor at Wakestream Ventures since July 2022, Mike supports investment managers with portfolio strategy and mentorship. As Chairman of the Board at Marketlab and Founder of Shoulder Innovations, established in 2009 to address glenoid implant challenges, Mike has played a pivotal role in innovation. Previously, as Managing Director at EDF Ventures, Mike focused on early-stage investments in healthcare and IT from 2003 to 2021. Earlier roles include CEO of A-Med Systems, where Mike led fundraising and a merger, Venture Director at Medtronic, and VP of Sales and Marketing at DLP, Inc., where revenue grew significantly. Mike holds an MBA in Marketing from Grand Valley State University and a BA in Economics from Calvin University.
