Abdullah Alshawaf is a Postdoctoral Fellow at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) since May 2023. Prior to this role, Abdullah served as an Adjunct Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre from April 2018 to June 2023 and as a Senior Lecturer at Alfaisal University from October 2017 to June 2023, focusing on educating medical students in physiology while conducting research on stem cell biology and neural differentiation. Abdullah completed a PhD in Stem Cells Biology and Neurosciences at the University of Melbourne from 2012 to 2016, following a Master's degree in Brain and Mind Sciences from the University of Sydney (2011-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the University of Sydney (2007-2010).
