Andrew Temple

Andrew Temple is a research scientist and global research fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) with a decade of interdisciplinary experience in ecology, fisheries, and socioeconomic disciplines. They completed their PhD in Fisheries Sciences and Management at Newcastle University in 2018, subsequently serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and later as a Senior Fisheries Consultant at MRAG Ltd. Andrew has focused on the anthropogenic impacts on the environment, particularly in relation to marine megafauna, and has worked across various regions, including Europe, the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, and South America. Their expertise includes a range of methods in fisheries science and data analysis, applying both Frequentist and Bayesian statistics.
