Carine Bonnard

Carine Bonnard is an experienced scientist currently serving as the Head Bio-Medical Platform at KAUST, where they establish an integrated biomedical platform to support local and global research communities. With a robust background in genetics, developmental biology, and project management, Carine co-founded AsianGut, a non-profit focused on gut microbiome DNA testing in Asia, and held the position of Director at the Asian Skin Biobank. They previously worked as a research engineer at Genset Corporation and laboratory manager at the Genome Institute of Singapore. Carine earned a PhD in Human Embryology and Genetics from the National University of Singapore, where they contributed to significant research in congenital disorders.
