Francesca S. has over 25 years of extensive experience in education, communication, and science within academic and governmental environments. Notably, at the European Commission, Francesca developed anti-fraud protocols for customs controls and organized outreach events for PECO countries. Holding a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and multiple advanced degrees in Natural Sciences and risk communication, Francesca currently serves as the Communications Lead at KAUST, where they support the Physical Science and Engineering Division in achieving its educational and research objectives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Additionally, Francesca has managed significant communication initiatives and led various multimedia campaigns throughout their career.
