Gianluca Setti

Gianluca Setti is the Dean and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at KAUST, specializing in the CEMSE Division. They have held a professorship at Politecnico di Torino since 2017 and previously served as a professor at the University of Ferrara from 1998 to 2017, and at the University of Bologna from 2001 to 2022. Among their numerous roles in professional organizations, Gianluca was the 2010 President of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and has contributed as an Editor in Chief for several IEEE publications. Gianluca completed their education at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and continues their studies at EPFL.
