Hong Im

Hong Im is a Professor at KAUST, where they have been since 2013. They previously held positions as a Professor at the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2014 and as a Research Fellow at Stanford University from 1994 to 1996. Hong completed a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University from 1989 to 1994 and earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, where they also began their studies in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to their academic career, Hong worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories from 1996 to 1999.
