Mo Li

Assistant Professor

Mo Li has a diverse background in cellular biology and genetics, beginning with an education that includes a Bachelor's degree from Peking University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Professional experience includes serving as a Research Associate at The Salk Institute, where Mo Li conducted research on deriving virus-free human iPS cells and gene correction for various blood disorders. Currently, Mo Li holds the position of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of human diseases through stem cell models and genome editing technologies. Previous roles include a Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Georgia, where significant research involved epigenetic mechanisms and live calcium imaging assays, as well as an earlier role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University.
