Jing Zhou

Jing Zhou began their career in 2005 as a PostDoc/Scientific Programmer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Two years later, they moved to the RCSB Protein Data Bank as a Biochemical Information Specialist/Scientific Programmer. In 2011, Jing Zhou became the CEO/Co-Founder of MicroCeramics Environmental Co., where they developed and manufactured zero valent iron coated ceramics materials for drinking water filtration. In 2016, they were appointed as the CEO of OxiScience, a group of scientists dedicated to creating innovative products that deliver effective and long-lasting odor control. Finally, in 2019, Jing Zhou became the Chief Operating Officer of Kavout Corporation, a pioneer startup that applies machine learning to the financial industry.

Jing Zhou completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nankai University, followed by a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Prior to this, they attended The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.
