Derek Keyes

Derek Keyes has extensive experience in the motorcycle industry, currently serving as a Product Support Technician and R+D Testing Tech/Test Rider at Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. since February 2006, where contributions include participation in the development of iconic models like the Ninja H2/H2R and ZX series. Prior to this role, Derek was a professional road racer from 2003 to November 2013, achieving multiple podium finishes and winning the WERA National Endurance Lightweight Championship. Derek began the career in service roles at various dealerships, including Yamaha City and Jacksonville Powersports, while pursuing racing ambitions. Education includes a Technician Degree from the Universal Technical Institute and a High School Diploma from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.
