Darrell Blackburn

Darrell Blackburn is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over two decades in various roles related to IT operations and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the IT Operations Manager at Kazang since October 2019, Darrell previously held the position of IT Infrastructure Networks Project Manager at Investec Asset Management for a brief period in 2019. Prior to this, Darrell worked at Amazon Web Services from June 2012 to July 2018, ascending through roles such as Manager of Technical Account Management, Cloud Support Team Lead, and Developer Support Engineer II. Earlier experience includes serving as a Client Technical Services Engineer at Thomson Reuters for a short time in 2012 and a lengthy tenure at Thomson Reuters from June 1994 to March 2011 as a Senior Network Engineer. Darrell holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Light Current from Technikon Witwatersrand, completed between 1994 and 1997.
