Ognjen Barčot is an MD and general surgeon at KBC Split, specializing in abdominal surgery. They have been affiliated with KBC Split since 2008 and currently serve as the head of the coloproctology ward. Since 2021, Ognjen has also held the position of assistant professor of surgery at the University of Split School of Medicine. Actively engaged in the Croatian society for endoscopic surgery as the secretary since 2014, Ognjen earned their Doctor of Medicine from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and is pursuing a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Split.
