Annelies Verbiest

Annelies Verbiest has a diverse work experience in the banking and asset management industry. Annelies started their career at KBC Asset Management in 2002 as a Senior Analist End User Computing, where they worked on creating custom solutions to improve efficiency and minimize operational risks. Annelies then progressed to become Head of End User Computing, Head of Lean Management+, Head of Strategy & Corporate Culture, and finally Head of Financial Risk. In 2018, Verbiest joined KBC Bank & Verzekering as the General Manager of Securities Services. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at KBC Bank & Verzekering.

Annelies Verbiest holds a Master's degree in Applied Sciences from Ghent University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Annelies also completed the CFA program from the CFA Institute from 2008 to 2010, and remained active in the field from 2011 to 2018.
