David Leonard, FRM, CAIA, has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as an Advisor at KBC Bank & Verzekering since January 2011, where responsibilities include producing internal and external reports and providing market risk advice to senior management, along with serving as secretary of the Group Markets Committee. Previously, Leonard worked as a consultant for AIM Trading, a hedge fund, where project work focused on integrating trading strategies for a global pension fund. Prior roles include Senior Derivatives Trader at Delta Lloyd Securities, where significant market-making achievements occurred, and General Manager at AOT België NV, founded and developed into the largest Belgian market-making operation, recognized with the CASH! /BXS Award in 2000. Leonard began his career as a market maker for AOT. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Finance from Antwerp Management School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Business Studies, as well as Physics from the University of Warwick.
