Georgi Velev

Georgi Velev currently serves as a Credit Risk Advisor at KBC Bank & Verzekering since May 2021. Previously, Georgi held the position of Head of Corporate Collection and Restructuring Department at United Bulgarian Bank from April 2015 to May 2021, and before that, worked at Alpha Bank Bulgaria as both Head of Workouts in the NPL Department and Corporate NPL Senior Expert from March 2011 to January 2015. Georgi holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Chicago (2003-2004), a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Roosevelt University (2000-2003), and an Associate's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Lincoln Land Community College (1998-2000).
