Jessie Vantieghem

Jessie Vantieghem is a Senior AML Process Manager and AML Risk Modeller at KBC Bank & Verzekering since December 2021. Prior to this role, Vantieghem served as a Research and Teaching Assistant and a PhD Student at Ghent University, specializing in financial economics and researching the influence of credit rating agencies. Vantieghem's academic credentials include a PhD in Economic Sciences and a Master's in Banking and Finance, both obtained from Ghent University, where emphasis was placed on quantitative research methodologies. Vantieghem has also held research positions at the National Bank of Belgium and National University of Singapore and contributed to projects in banking performance and asset return modeling during studies at BNP Paribas and Vlerick Business School.
