Johan Theunis

Johan Theunis has extensive experience in the banking and financial sectors, primarily at KBC Bank & Verzekering since January 2013, where roles have included Policy Advisor Ecosystems, Business Development Manager for Life Insurances, and Department Head of Leasing. Prior to this, Johan served as Department Head for Integrated Risk & ALM and worked as a Risk Advisor focused on Integrated Risk and Capital. Earlier positions at KBC Lease featured responsibilities as an ALM and Financial Capital Advisor. At KBC Bank from October 2007 to March 2012, Johan was an ICT Senior Team Leader overseeing Telecom infrastructure and security. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance and a PhD in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications, both from KU Leuven.
