Johan Thiers

Johan Thiers has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as General Manager of Sustainability and Corporate Banking Policy at KBC Bank & Verzekering since November 2020. Previously, at KBC Group, Johan held the position of General Manager of Group Finance, overseeing IFRS and BGAAP experts in accounting systems and financial reporting from April 2017. Johan's career at KBC Bank & Verzekering began in June 1995, with various roles including CFO of the Belgium Business Unit and General Manager of Group Strategy and Corporate Development. Johan holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp and completed a summer course at Georgetown University in 1990.
