Joris Vleugels

Joris Vleugels has extensive experience in underwriting, specializing in corporate business and liability insurance. Currently, Vleugels serves as a member of the Center of Competence, Underwriting Non Life at KBC Bank & Verzekering since January 2018. Prior experience includes positions as Executive Underwriter for liability at Baloise Insurance, overseeing SME and large international accounts, and serving as local Belgian coordinator for an international insurance network. Vleugels held roles at Baloise Insurance as Casualty Manager, and prior to that, worked with Amlin plc, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Generali, Ethias, and ING Belgium in various underwriting and sales capacities. Vleugels holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from institutions including EHSAL, KU Leuven, and UFSIA.
