Lies Lierman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and banking sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Operational Resilience & Innovation and Head of Operational Risk at KBC Bank & Verzekering since November 2018. Previously, Lies held various key positions at KBC Verzekeringen from September 2002 to November 2018, including Head of Client Expertise Center for Non-Life Insurances and Head of the Actuarial and Reporting Department for Life. With a strong background in actuarial sciences, Lies has led teams in ensuring profitability for Life & Health Insurance products and managing complex valuations in line with reporting guidelines such as Solvency II and IFRS.
