Niels Maes

Niels Maes is an accomplished finance professional with a strong educational background, including a Master's in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master's in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, both achieved with the highest distinction. Niels has diverse experience in corporate finance, currently serving as a Corporate Account Officer at KBC Bank & Verzekering, following roles as an Associate in Corporate Finance at KBC Securities and Oaklins KBC Securities. Prior to this, Niels gained valuable insights through a Business Development Internship at ION develop different and participated in an Investment Banking Track at Capitant. Additionally, Niels held leadership roles as Treasurer and Board Member at VTK Gent, a prominent student organization at Ghent University, where responsibilities included managing finances and organizing events for a large student body.
