Peter Banach

Peter Banach is a seasoned professional in user experience design with extensive experience in both leadership and hands-on roles. Currently serving as User Experience Strategist and Head of Design at KBC Bank & Verzekering since April 2014, Peter optimizes design processes and manages the UI design team while fostering collaboration within the UX community. Previous roles include Team Lead Design where Peter improved the quality of the Design department’s outputs, and User Experience Designer involved in KBC’s online banking projects. Prior experience includes positions at Philips Innovation Lab Leuven as User Experience Architect and Designer, focusing on home entertainment products, as well as a Graduate Trainee role at Philips Research. Educational qualifications include an MSc. in Applied Cognitive Psychology from Maastricht University and a Professional Doctorate in Engineering in User System Interaction from Eindhoven University of Technology.
