Piet Demedts

Piet Demedts has extensive experience in the ICT sector, having held key roles at various financial institutions. At Kredietbank NV from 1992 to 1998, Piet served as the Department Head for ICT Application Development Support, where responsibilities included the selection of a multiplatform application development suite and managing application development support. Later, at KBC Bank & Verzekering from 2011 to 2020, Piet held multiple leadership positions, including Department Head of Mainframe zEnterprise, overseeing engineering activities and 24/7 mainframe operations, and Department Head of Service Delivery Management, focusing on internal customer service management. Additionally, Piet acted as Programme Manager during the KBC merger and in various domains, such as Financial Markets and Securities, facilitating the integration and migration of ICT systems. Piet holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Universiteit Gent and a background in Latin-Mathematics from Don Bosco Zwijnaarde.
