Saskia Mermans

Saskia Mermans is a distinguished legal professional currently serving as Group General Counsel for KBC Group since September 2014 and as an honorary member of the Board of Directors at CEPANI since July 2016. Mermans has held various prominent roles, including Rechter in Ondernemingszaken at the Commercial Court Brussels since April 2013 and honorary president of the Belgian Institute for Company Lawyers (IBJ/IJE) since November 2018. Past positions include vice president and director roles at Belgacom and Acerta, as well as head of Legal and Compliance at Deutsche Bank. Mermans holds a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven and has further education from EHSAL and Université Catholique Louvain-La-Neuve.
