Sofie Caluwaerts has over two decades of experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Controller Group Trade Finance Export at KBC Bank & Verzekering since July 2006, along with roles as Investment adviser and Clients adviser. Prior experience includes working as a Junior Project Manager at Citibank Belgium from 2000 to 2006, where responsibilities involved the end-to-end launch of Structured Products, optimizing product launch procedures, and tracking private placements. Sofie holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Forwarding, Distribution & Transport from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, and has additional educational experience from Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen and Ursulinen Mechelen.
