Sofie Gheysen

Sofie Gheysen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legal advisory roles within the KBC Group. Currently serving as a Product Owner at KBC Bank & Verzekering since May 2023, Sofie previously held the position of Company Lawyer at KBC Asset Management from August 2013 to August 2016, offering first-line legal advice and training. Sofie transitioned to a Legal Advisor role focused on credit recovery for corporates at KBC Bank NV from September 2016 to April 2020, before returning to KBC Bank & Verzekering as a Functioneel Analist and Company Lawyer from April 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included providing second-line advice in Guarantees and Credit Law. Sofie Gheysen earned a Master’s degree in Law from Ghent University between 2006 and 2010.
