Ken Tracy is a partner at KBF CPAs, where responsibilities include advising public and private companies on income tax accounting and tax compliance, with an emphasis on complex ASC 740 issues and mergers & acquisitions. After reducing hours in May 2023 to assume a part-time and semi-retired role, Ken continues to develop the next generation of tax professionals. Previously, Ken served as a part-time lecturer in Taxation at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business from January 2017 to June 2021, focusing on Advanced Issues in Corporate Taxation and Accounting for Income Taxes. Prior to this academic role, Ken enjoyed a distinguished career as a partner at EY from June 1983 to December 2016, providing tax advisory services to multinational public companies. Ken holds a Master of Accounting degree with a focus on Taxation from Brigham Young University, completed between 1976 and 1983.
