Alexa Doerr

Alexa Doerr, Ph.D., is a Senior Principle Specialist in Psychology at KBR/NASA, where they evaluate and develop training materials for NASA astronauts and conduct research on human performance in extreme conditions. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Development and I/O Psychology at Towson University, focusing on occupational safety, employee selection, and workplace behavior. Alexa earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Auburn University, where they also completed a Master's degree. Their diverse experience includes roles as a Certification Research Analyst at SHRM and various teaching and research positions during their academic career.
