Blake Martin is currently a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at Wright State University, specializing in computational and numerical methods for complex flow regimes. Their research focuses on flux reconstruction methods related to viscous effects and shock wave/boundary layer interactions. Blake has held various roles, including Engineering Technical Associate at KBR, Inc., where they support CFD modeling and simulation for defense systems. They also gained practical experience through internships at Pennant Moldings, Inc. and Dayton-Phoenix Group, Inc., enhancing manufacturing processes and efficient workflow. Blake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Wright State University.
