Brittany Pitcel

Brittany Pitcel is currently the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF) Technical Integration Lead at KBR, Inc., where responsibilities include serving as the liaison between the Mission Systems Operations Contract (MSOC) and the Johnson Space Center (JSC) SVMF NASA customer. Previously, Brittany worked at LZ Technology, Inc. as the SVMF Integrated Product Team Lead, overseeing engineering projects and interfacing with NASA customers, including astronauts. Additional roles include serving as the Training Systems Release Manager, a peer mentor through the University Leadership Network, an Orientation Advisor at The University of Texas at Austin, and a Peer Assistant Leader for the Women In Engineering Program. Brittany holds a Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
