Changyi Chen

Changyi (Bruce) Chen, PE, SE, PEng, PMP, is an engineering manager with over 30 years of experience leading large-scale projects in the oil, gas, petrochemical, mining, and nuclear sectors. They possess a strong background in civil structural engineering and project management, having worked with multidisciplinary teams on projects across North America and internationally. Changyi has held key roles at several notable organizations, including Tianjin Cement Industrial Design and Research Institute, WorleyParsons, Dow, and KBR, Inc. They earned a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Structural Engineering from Wuhan University. Currently, Changyi is managing the civil structural department at Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC, while also serving as an engineering manager at KBR, Inc.
