Chris Cohoon

Chris Cohoon is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in satellite data processing, currently employed at KBR, Inc. since 2008. Cohoon has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing mission-critical segments for the Global Precipitation Measurement satellite, leading a team of developers and collaborating with government clients and international partners like JAXA. With previous positions at RSIS, COMSO, Honeywell, and CSC, Cohoon has consistently contributed to critical aerospace projects, including the Space Shuttle Return to Flight Mission. Educational credentials include Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, earned between April 2021 and December 2023.
