David Mordaunt is a laser and electro-optical systems subject matter expert with extensive experience in advanced laser technology development and program management. They served as Chief Engineer for Laser and Sensor Systems at Lockheed Martin from 2017 to 2018 and worked as a Senior Staff Consultant and Technical Fellow at Ball Aerospace from 2019 to 2022. Currently, David holds the position of Chief Technical Advisor for High Energy Lasers at KBR, Inc. They are pursuing a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the University of Southern California, having also earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Whitman College and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
